FAQ: Hesabi pricing, regions, and roadmap

Straight answers on Hesabi Starter, Pro, and Cabinet pricing in Tunisia—what each tier includes, accountant access, TTN costs, and where we ship today.

Hesabi pricing tiers and Tunisia market focus

Hesabi publishes three monthly subscription tiers for Tunisia—Starter at 29 TND, Pro at 59 TND, and Cabinet at 149 TND—each aimed at a different operator: micro-PME, growing company with payroll and comptabilité needs, and expert-comptable firms managing multiple client dossiers. Your subscription covers Hesabi software, updates, and support for Tunisian fiscal workflows; it does not include TTN enrollment fees, digital certificate costs, or DGI filing charges billed by regulators and third parties.

This FAQ-style guide collects the pricing, regional, and roadmap questions DarDev hears from PME owners, finance leads, and cabinets evaluating hesabi.tn. Figures reflect public list pricing on the product site; volume or partner arrangements may differ. Fiscal interpretation remains with your expert-comptable—we describe product scope, not binding tax advice.

Three tiers at a glance

  • Starter (29 TND/month): invoicing, stock, point-of-sale, and TVA-oriented workflows for micro-PME, commerçants, and light service businesses
  • Pro (59 TND/month): adds paie CNSS, comptabilité modules, TEJ-oriented exports, and deeper TTN El Fatoora integration for PMEs that run payroll or need accountant-ready books
  • Cabinet (149 TND/month): multi-client portfolio tools for sociétés d'expertise comptable and chartered accountants—not a substitute for a single-shop Starter license

Pick the tier that matches who signs TTN submissions, whether you run payroll in-house, and how your cabinet engages. A five-person services company with one external accountant usually lands on Pro; a retail shop issuing invoices and tracking stock often starts on Starter. Cabinets serving dozens of PME clients evaluate Cabinet separately from company plans—see accountant-hesabi-workflow on this site for collaboration patterns.

What subscription includes—and what it does not

All paid tiers include access to Hesabi's Tunisian-localized product: customer and product master data, invoice lifecycle, role-based access, audit trails, and ongoing compliance-oriented updates as TTN and TEJ rules evolve. Cloud hosting for the SaaS deployment, routine backups, and product support channels are part of the subscription—you are not buying a one-time license with annual maintenance bolted on.

Excluded from monthly fees: TTN El Fatoora enrollment and per-transaction or annual charges set by Tunisie TradeNet; qualified digital certificate purchase and renewal from an accredited provider; SMS or payment-gateway fees from telcos and banks; and third-party payroll or banking integrations that bill outside Hesabi. Treat those as operational compliance costs alongside your software budget, not hidden upsells inside the 29/59/149 TND lines.

Starter: who it fits and typical limits

Starter targets owner-operators and small teams that need disciplined invoicing without a full comptabilité department. Facturation with Tunisian VAT codes, basic inventory and POS flows, and exports your accountant can ingest monthly are the core value. If your only compliance pressure today is issuing correct invoices and surviving a TVA declaration with clean sales registers, Starter is the economical entry.

Starter is not the right long-term home for a PME running CNSS payroll, multi-warehouse manufacturing, or complex TEJ withholding across dozens of suppliers—you will outgrow it and should plan a Pro migration before year-end close chaos. Upgrading mid-year is normal; what hurts is migrating during an audit window without a parallel export test.

Pro: payroll, comptabilité, and TTN depth

Pro adds the modules growing Tunisian PMEs request once headcount and supplier complexity rise: paie aligned with CNSS expectations, comptabilité structures that tie sales to ledgers, TEJ-relevant payment tracking, and TTN clearance workflows integrated with invoice issuance rather than bolted on as a PDF export. Services-sector firms facing LF 2026 e-invoicing deadlines often land here because clearance and declaration prep must share one data model.

Pro still assumes one operating company per subscription unless your contract explicitly covers a group structure. Subsidiaries, franchise locations with separate matricules fiscaux, and shared service centers each need a licensing conversation—do not assume one Pro seat covers three legal entities. For rollout sequencing with a tiny finance team, pair this FAQ with onboarding-5-person-company-hesabi.

Cabinet: accountant seats and client portfolios

Cabinet is priced for expert-comptables and accounting firms, not for a PME that merely has an external accountant. The plan emphasizes portfolio visibility: multiple client dossiers, standardized exports across clients, and workflows that reduce email attachments at month end. A PME on Starter or Pro typically grants its cabinet read or export access within the company tenant— that is collaboration, not a Cabinet subscription.

Accountant seats mean licensed users inside the cabinet's own Hesabi organization who manage client onboarding, review cleared invoice registers, and pull TEJ-aligned payment reports. Seat counts and client portfolio limits follow the Cabinet plan published on hesabi.tn; adding staff or crossing client thresholds may require a plan adjustment. PMEs should not purchase Cabinet to dodge Pro pricing—DarDev sales will redirect you to the company tier that matches your entity.

  • PME subscription: your company data, your users, accountant invited as external collaborator
  • Cabinet subscription: firm's workspace, client dossiers, partner and staff seats
  • Never share owner credentials; use role separation described in accountant-hesabi-workflow

TTN and regulatory fees stay separate

TTN El Fatoora participation carries costs billed by Tunisie TradeNet and related providers—enrollment, certificates, and sometimes per-clearance economics depending on your sector and volume. Hesabi integrates with TTN; it does not bundle TTN's public tariff schedule into your 29, 59, or 149 TND software line. Budget both: SaaS for daily operations, regulatory lane for state-mandated e-invoicing infrastructure.

Digital signing certificates expire; renewal lead times bite teams who discover expiry the day before a clearance deadline. Put certificate renewal on the same calendar as insurance renewals, not as a surprise invoice. Technical setup steps for clearance are covered in ttn-el-fatoora-sme-guide—read that before blaming software for enrollment delays you could have started earlier.

Regional availability and roadmap honesty

Hesabi ships for Tunisian VAT, TEJ, CNSS, and TTN workflows today. Product, support, and legal assumptions are Tunisia-specific: matricule fiscal validation, DGI declaration rhythms, and French/Arabic document norms you expect in Tunis. We do not claim feature parity with Moroccan or Algerian fiscal regimes because we have not built or certified for them.

Cross-border Maghreb expansion is a roadmap topic, not a SKU you can buy now. When DarDev announces another country, it will ship with local tax logic, support hours, and data residency commitments—not a language toggle on the Tunisian build. Until then, subsidiaries abroad need local compliance software; a Tunisian parent using Hesabi for the Tunis entity remains the supported pattern.

Roadmap items—mobile field invoicing improvements, AI-assisted insights, deeper bank feeds—land in product release notes and hesabi.tn changelogs, not in speculative blog promises. If a feature is beta or waitlisted elsewhere in the DarDev portfolio, we label it explicitly; Hesabi GA features are what paying Tunisian customers run in production today.

How to choose without overbuying

  1. List obligations

TTN clearance, TEJ withholding, CNSS payroll, multi-warehouse—check only what you must do this fiscal year.

  2. Map users

Count finance staff, sales issuers, and external accountant access separately from cabinet partner seats.

  3. Price TTN separately

Request TTN and certificate quotes from providers; add to year-one budget before comparing Starter vs Pro.

  4. Pilot one month

Run parallel exports with your accountant before decommissioning legacy spreadsheets.

  5. Revisit at year end

Upgrade tier when payroll or comptabilité modules become daily necessities, not hypothetical.

Choosing invoicing software should include a TTN test-environment rehearsal—see choosing-invoicing-software-tn before signing a multi-year commitment with any vendor that only offers PDF templates without clearance references.

Billing, trials, and support expectations

Monthly subscriptions bill in Tunisian dinars on the public list prices unless a written enterprise or partner agreement states otherwise. Annual prepay discounts, if offered, appear on hesabi.tn at checkout—do not assume them from third-party resellers without confirmation. Downgrades and cancellations follow the terms published at purchase; export your data before churning regardless of vendor.

Support covers product configuration, defect reports, and guidance on Hesabi-native workflows. It does not replace your expert-comptable for filing decisions, nor will support agents obtain TTN certificates on your behalf. Response times align with SaaS business hours documented on the site—plan internal owners for month-end peaks.

Next steps

Compare live plan details and start a trial at hesabi.tn. For cabinet evaluations, request a Cabinet demo with your client count and seat needs ready. DarDev publishes operational guides—not legal opinions—under Deployed Realities on news.dardev.net; subscribe for product updates when TTN or TEJ rules shift.

Can I stay on Starter if TTN clearance is mandatory for my sector?

Often yes for very small volumes if Starter supports your clearance workflow today—verify on hesabi.tn. Many services PMEs move to Pro when TEJ, payroll, and comptabilité modules become daily work.

Does the monthly fee include TTN enrollment?

No. TTN and digital certificate costs are billed by Tunisie TradeNet and certificate providers, not bundled into 29/59/149 TND subscriptions.

How many accountant seats does my PME plan include?

PME plans include collaborator access for your external accountant within your company tenant—not Cabinet partner seats. Cabinets serving many clients need the Cabinet tier.

Cross-border Maghreb expansion?

Not available today. Hesabi is built and supported for Tunisia only; other Maghreb markets are roadmap until DarDev announces a certified local release.

What changes when upgrading Starter to Pro mid-year?

Modules unlock on the new tier; historical invoices and master data typically carry forward. Re-test exports with your accountant after upgrade and align CNSS payroll cutover dates.
